Hazelnut

Hazelnuts, also known as filberts, are sweet-flavoured nuts that contain a significant amount of antioxidants and phytonutrients that help protect against heart diseases, cancer and neutralize harmful free radicals. Most nuts, such as almonds, walnuts, and cashews, are botanically defined as seeds rather than fruit. Yet, a handful of true nuts like chestnuts and hazelnuts are technically fruits.
